Responsible Sourcing of Raw Materials (2 points)
As per LEED v4.1, products certified by the Forest Stewardship Council are valued at 100% of their cost for the purposes of LEED credit achievement calculation.
VERSAROC is certified by the Program for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC), which is recognized by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen (DGNB) and is therefore accepted by the
Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).
Low-Emitting Materials (up to 2 POINTs)
VERSAOC is virtually Formaldehyde free. It therefore meets requirements under sub-flooring, wall panels, insulation, and composite wood. The panel may therefore contribute up to 2 points, based on applications in your project.
Acoustic Performance (1 Point)
Because of its high density (77
lbs/ft3), VERSAROC® contributes significant acoustic
performance when used as a wall or floor sheathing. The panel may compliment your project with an additional STC rating between 30-35 depending on thickness and installation of product.
